Data Deletion
A user may request deletion of information associated with a connected account or a Kanpai-operated application.
Option 1: Revoke platform access
Remove the relevant Kanpai application from the connected platform's application, integration, or business-integration settings. This stops future access through that authorization. Revoking access alone may not immediately delete information already stored by Kanpai.
Option 2: Submit a deletion request
- Email [email protected].
- Use the subject line Data Deletion Request.
- State the Kanpai application display name shown in the platform authorization screen.
- Provide the email address or account identifier used to connect the application.
- Do not send passwords, access tokens, App Secrets, or other authentication credentials.
Verification
Kanpai may request limited additional information needed to verify the requester and identify the correct records. This is used only to prevent unauthorized deletion.
What will be deleted
After verification, Kanpai will delete or de-identify eligible information associated with the connection, including:
- stored user and Page access tokens;
- connected-account and Page identifiers retained by the application;
- pending scheduled content and related publishing instructions;
- stored publishing records, post identifiers, and performance data;
- other account-linked information that is not required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Timeframe
Kanpai processes verified deletion requests promptly. The time required depends on the scope of the records and any limited security, backup, legal, or dispute-resolution records that must be retained. Kanpai will confirm completion using the requester's email address.
